Who are you and what are you doing?

We are a new game development company called Meteorite Games. Formed from Murdoch University students who all have a strong passion for game design, Meteorite Games is striving to make a name for themselves in the local market. Meteorite Games is currently working on a project called Eternal Tournament, a 3D multi-player platform fighting video game.

What do you want to get from this community?

Spacecubed gives us the chance to work in a professional environment, surrounded by a number of industry experts in Perth. Spacecubed also provides the chance to develop our networking skills and inform the local community about Meteorite Games.

What can you give to this community?

Meteorite Games hopes to build a new game development company, filling the void that currently plagues the Perth community. Always striving to learn and improve, we hope to also provide a shining example to other developers wanting to join the industry.

Why did you start your project or organisation?

Perth currently has no major games company, forcing many game developers to leave the state or work in different fields. Meteorite Games wants to provide another option via creating a successful company in Perth. With the gaming industry growing around the world, Meteorite Games wants to harness the creativity of fellow West Australians, and put Perth back on the gaming map.

What is your passion?

Games. Simple, yet true. Meteorite Games has one passion, and that’s to create ground breaking gaming experiences for everyone who wants to play.
