Amazon Web Services Challenge is back!
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Global Start-Up Challenge is back! Having been launched in 2007, the contest is in its sixth year and is a great way for start-ups to win rewards and to get noticed globally. The challenge offers prizes of up to $100 000 in combined cash and credits for multiple winners, plus VC introductions and PR support.
Similar to 2011, AWS will use global entrepreneurship contest platform YouNoodle to manage all entries. All entrants can submit their form, and return to make any changes right up until the deadline of the contest. The deadline for the Start-up Challenge is November 9, 2012. After this time, the judging panel from Amazon Web Services will review and judge all entries.
Finalists will have the opportunity to meet with Tier One Investor representatives, including top VC’s from Union Square Ventures, NEA and Accel. Semi-Finalists and Finalists will be featured in Start-Up Challenge press releases which have previously been picked up by top tech outlets such as TechCrunch and GigaOM.
