Member Profile : Ellie Cameron-Brown – elbo graphics
Who are you and what are you doing?
Hi my name is Ellie Cameron-Brown,
I am 25, live in Fremantle and have just started my freelance design business elbo graphics.
With the ability to use Adobe (In Design, Illustrator & Photoshop) my design skills range from Logo, Identity and Layout design (business cards, brochures, newsletters, ad designs, posters, postcards…etc), Stationary, Photography (photo re-touching, restoration) and Illustration (computer & hand).
For the last 4-5 years I have been studying graphic design at Tafe and at Curtin University. I have been working as a graphic designer for a print shop for the past 6+ months in Fremantle and this has given me much needed knowledge on the print side of design.
What do you want to get from this community?
Inspiration, feedback, experience & work!!
What can you give to this community?
Creative feedback and design work.
Why did you start your project / organisation?
I have been very fortunate enough to work straight out of University, this has given me the confidence to pursue my dream. I have decided to work as a freelance designer on the side of working at Printline as I think experience is definitely the key and the more I get the better. I understand that there are many other designers out there, but I want to offer my own individual style and character that hopefully clients will appreciate. I pride myself on being efficient and always strive to achieve the best outcome for my briefs and most importantly for my clients.
I am a very family orientated person and this has brought me up to believe that surrounding myself with people that I care about and people who inspire me is very important.
Peoples enthusiasm and confidence to their own passions inspires me… I’m still working on my confidence (especially in starting my own business) and I am always looking for ways to gain the most experience and confidence as possible to become the best person I can be.
